We also have a dedicated thyroid cancer team that specializes in treating patients with benign or malignant tumors of the parathyroid and adrenal glands.
Treatment options include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, microvascular reconstruction, cutaneous malignancy and laser surgery. Radiation therapy, often combined with chemotherapy, is also frequently used to treat these cancers. The goal of this therapy is to treat the cancer while minimizing side effects.
