UK HealthCare is currently hiring Central Services Technicians and Operating Room Assistants for full-time and on-call day- and night-shift positions. Open houses will be held for interested applicants on the following dates from 2 - 4 p.m. Please dress professionally as the open houses may include tours of the department areas within the hospital.

Central Services Technician duties include assembling and processing surgical instrument trays, decontaminating instruments, responding to operating room requests, and maintaining cleanliness of the department and workstation. Operating Room Assistant duties include assisting the nursing team, handling sterile supplies and equipment, transporting of patients within the hospital, maintaining cleanliness in operating rooms, and assisting with inventory counts.
Parking is available in the UK HealthCare parking garage at 110 Transcript Ave., directly across S. Limestone from UK Chandler Hospital. Bring your parking ticket with you to the interview and we will validate it for you. A free shuttle is available from Level A of the garage. Exit the shuttle at the second stop – Pavilion H. After entering the hospital, take the first hallway to your right. Check in at the Nurse Recruitment offices, which are in Room H161, the first office on the left.
