The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Oncology Rehabilitation Program, led by Dr. Andrew Savoie, offers specialized medical care for cancer patients who hope to improve their general well-being. The goal of this program is to improve quality of life for both the patient and their family by managing physical impairments, overseeing personalized rehabilitation programs, and providing medical follow-up for these issues.
Oncology rehabilitation is appropriate for any age, as well as during any stage of illness, and it can be provided together with curative treatment.
