About
Leah D’Souza, MD, joins the UK Markey Cancer Center as a radiation oncologist who treats head and neck and thoracic cancers.
Dr. D’Souza earned her medical degree from University College Cork in Ireland before completing her radiation oncology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Her research interests include addressing health disparities through patient education, along with graduate medical education, simulation-based medical education and continuing medical education.
She received multiple grants and awards during medical school and her residency, and she is the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
