The UK Markey Cancer Center for a seventh straight year earned a national ranking from the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals. For the eighth year in a row, UK HealthCare was ranked the No. 1 hospital in Kentucky.

SPECIALTY RANKINGS
The 2023-24 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals survey reviewed the performance of 899 hospitals in cancer care. In addition to our overall ranking, these conditions and specialty procedures at UK Markey Cancer Center were nationally recognized:
- Colon cancer surgery
- Leukemia, lymphoma & myeloma
- Lung cancer surgery
- Ovarian cancer surgery
- Uterine cancer surgery
Two other UK HealthCare programs that provide care for cancer patients — Ear, Nose & Throat and Obstetrics & Gynecology — were also nationally ranked, and Gastroenterology and GI surgery was recognized as high-performing.
