Believe in Markey Cancer Center

BELIEVE IN
A CANCER-FREE FUTURE

At the UK Markey Cancer Center, we believe in a cancer-free future for all of Kentucky. This bold vision drives our work every day. Kentucky has the highest rate of cancer incidence in the country. Through screenings, advanced treatments, groundbreaking clinical trials and collaborations across the state, we’ve provided hope & healing for thousands of Kentuckians.

BELIEVE IN
EARLY DETECTION

A cancer-free future for Kentuckians begins with early screenings. We work with health professionals across the state to screen Kentuckians for the cancers that hit our Commonwealth the hardest, including, lung, colorectal, breast and ovarian cancers.

Markey Cancer Center is NCI-designated

The UK Markey Cancer Center was first designated by the National Cancer Institute in 2013 – a distinction that recognizes our extraordinary ability to provide world-class care for our patients. We are the only NCI-Designated Cancer Center in Kentucky and one of only 71 in the nation.
