Neurodevelopmental Evaluation and Management Optimization (NEMO) Clinic
Learning that your child has a complex neurological disorder can be overwhelming. The UK HealthCare Neurology Evaluation and Management Optimization Clinic – called the NEMO Clinic – provides one easy location to bring your child’s care and treatment together.
Our clinic is a place where children are evaluated and treated for rare conditions affecting the nervous system and muscles. We provide care for kids with:
- Genetic neuromuscular conditions
- Genetic syndromes affecting the brain and development
- Other complex neurological needs
Our team is led by pediatrician and child neurologist Dr. David Toupin, who takes pride in providing compassionate, family-centered care.
The NEMO team includes:
- A child neurologist
- Speech-language pathologists
- Occupational and physical therapists
- Psychologists
- Other medical staff
Dr. Toupin and team focus on all aspects of your child’s well-being. An evaluation process that can take 18 months or more elsewhere has been brought together into one appointment. This allows families to leave the NEMO Clinic with information and answers.
