Dr. Michael Hendricks is a Pediatric Neurologist at UK HealthCare with a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. With a BA in Japanese from Marshall University, a BS in Biology from West Virginia University, and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Hendricks brings a diverse background to his work. Inspired by personal experiences as a parent of a child with a neurological condition, Dr. Hendricks emphasizes clear communication, shared decision-making, and compassionate listening in every patient interaction. He specializes in evaluating and treating conditions such as gross motor delay, developmental delays, café au lait spots, seizures, headaches, learning disorders, and neuromuscular conditions.
Dr. Hendricks is dedicated to expanding outreach efforts and developing specialized traveling clinics for neuromuscular diseases and Neurofibromatosis. He is actively involved in the multidisciplinary clinic, which integrates Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, therapy services, psychology, and genetic counseling to provide comprehensive care for children with complex neurological conditions. Dr. Hendricks values UK HealthCare’s strong commitment to community outreach and works to ensure every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
