We offer a complex prevention clinic if you want to take a proactive approach to your heart health. We work with you to lower your risks and to help prevent the onset of cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, coronary artery disease and other issues.

At your first visit to general cardiology, we want to get to know you – the whole you, not just your heart problems.

We will:

• Review your health and family history
• Collect any additional information we might need
• Ask you what your goals are and what’s important to you

To develop a complete care plan, we go over possible treatment options. We will talk with you about the pros and cons of each.

 If needed, we bring in other specialists – like a cardiac surgeon, an interventionalist or an electrophysiologist. They can discuss treatments in more detail and explain how they can best manage your condition.

We believe in shared decision-making. This means that you and your provider make health decisions together. These decisions are informed by your values as well as clinical evidence.

You are never on this journey alone. We have coordinators who can help you navigate the health system before, during and after your care. We also have a cardiologist on-call 24/7 to help with your care and to answer any of your questions.
