This MD did not find the root of the issue. In fact, we were told there is no Issue at all. We were told a heart rate while resting/sleeping in the 130s is normal. A rate of 150s-160s at rest while awake is normal. My child is 6.5 years old. I am a healthcare provider myself. I know this is not normal. We were not offered any further testing such as a Holter monitor to see if his rate is going even higher during play or sleep. We will be seeking a second opinion from another pediatric cardiologist. I was very disappointed with this MD.

*Dr. Sykes was very comforting with our daughters health issues, very knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything where we understood the issue and how to treat it.

The doctors were wonderful. They were caring, patient, and thorough. We can't say enough good things about them.
