Our children’s behavioral health and services facilities include our Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit at Kentucky Children's Hospital, a 17-bed inpatient program housed at Kentucky Children’s Hospital, which offers children’s behavioral health and services for patients under the age of 17. The team consists of psychiatrists, licensed social workers, psychologists, registered nurses, chaplains and recreational therapists, and they work with several other staff to provide treatment options at our adolescent behavioral health clinic, ranging from art and music therapies to family sessions and spiritual guidance. We even offer pet therapy every Friday afternoon, where a volunteer pet therapist brings dogs to visit with our patients.
