Toy Drive Wish List
Thank you so much for your interest in donating items to support the kids of Golisano Children's at UK. Your donation helps ensure that the children and families in our care have toys and other fun items to play with while they are in the hospital any time of the year.
To ensure the health and safety of our staff, patients and families while also making the best use of limited storage space, we encourage you to donate new toys and other items via wish lists through Target, Amazon and Walmart.
We are unable to accept any donations at the hospital that are not pre-approved and scheduled with the Child Life Department.

The best way to donate toys and other items to Golisano Children’s at UK is via our online wish lists. Our Child Life team keeps these lists up to date with the items they need most.

Donation guidelines
To protect the health and safety of our staff, donation drop-offs must be preapproved and prescheduled. All donations must meet the guidelines below:
- All donated items must be new and in original packages.
- Donations will not be accepted without prior approval and a scheduled donation drop-off with the Child Life Department.
- Donors should make every effort to limit exposure to COVID-positive environments for all donated items to protect health and well-being of our patients and families.
- Any donor experiencing symptoms of illness on the day of donation drop-off should contact Child Life to reschedule.
- Visitors will not be allowed to enter the hospital to drop off donations or interact with patients.
We cannot accept the following:
- Any used toys, used stuffed animals, used books or used coloring items
- Flowers or live plants/edible items
- Latex balloons
- Candles, sharp instruments or harmful objects
- Mature-rated games/movies
- Any items with religious sayings, symbols, etc.

Mailing/shipping donations
The best way to mail/ship donated items to Golisano Children’s at UK is to shop our online wish lists.
If you wish to donate new, unopened items that weren’t purchased from the wish list, please complete the form below for shipping instructions and the correct mailing address.
Handmade items
Some handmade items such as blankets, hats, etc. may be accepted if appropriate infection control guidelines have been followed. Please email Child Life at kchchildlife@uky.edu for these guidelines.
