2025 Lift Them Up Kid of the Game Team Roster

Molly received a scope at Golisano Children’s at UK and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Now age 11, she receives a Remicade infusion every four weeks along with routine blood draws and follow-ups with Dr. Ofei. Molly is involved in 4-H, where she attends bee, sewing, garden, and baking clubs. She also loves participating in school activities such as archery and cheerleading!

Adi Jane was diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2024. She is now 8 years old and receives treatment at the Dance Blue Oncology Unit. Adi Jane enjoys cheerleading and attending UK Gymnastics meets!

Four-year-old Tommy was born with only half a functioning heart and has been a single ventricle heart patient since birth. His doctors at Golisano Children’s at UK performed a Glenn procedure to help his heart function. Tommy loves watching UK football and basketball games!

Reid had a lymph node removal, biopsy, and a CT scan that revealed that his lymph nodes and granulomas were caused by a bacterial infection. He was treated by the Pediatric Infectious Disease team during his time at Golisano Children’s at UK. Now age 11, Reid enjoys spending time outdoors and playing video games!

Eleven-year-old Sera has been receiving treatment from Golisano Children’s at UK since birth. She experienced a traumatic birth, which led to Chronic Kidney Disease, among other issues. Currently, she’s treated at the departments of Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Infectious Disease, and requires weekly labs. Some of Sera’s favorite things include swimming, playing video games, and the color pink!

Max was in a car wreck where he suffered severe intestinal bruising due to the seat belt. The severity of the bruising caused fluid surrounding the intestines and colon. He spent four nights at Golisano Children’s at UK while the surgical team monitored him around the clock. Now age 9, Max loves playing sports, especially baseball, football, and basketball!

Mara was born at 24 weeks. She weighed 14 ounces at birth and spent 294 days in the NICU. Now, Mara is 3 years old and loves dance class, going to preschool, and the color pink!
