Golisano Children's at UK Leadership
Golisano Children’s at UK is where kids from across Kentucky come for better health – and a brighter future.
At the heart of our children’s hospital is a dedicated, multidisciplinary leadership team representing children’s health across the Commonwealth. With a shared commitment to excellence, our team brings together clinical, operational and strategic expertise to expand access, advance innovation and deliver world-class care to every child who needs us.
We provide families in all corners of Kentucky with the leading-edge treatments their kids need – through advanced subspecialty care, expanded outreach clinics and telehealth visits.
In recent years, we have grown significantly. To meet this demand and navigate complex challenges, we set up a triad leadership model. This model brings together a physician, nurse and administrator to guide our inpatient and hospital-based services with a unified, patient-centered approach.
Complementing this structure is a dyad leadership model dedicated to our outpatient operations. This ensures coordinated, high-quality care across clinics and community-based settings.
Together, these models foster collaboration, strengthen decision-making and ensure we remain responsive to the needs of children and families statewide.
As part of a broader commitment to improving health outcomes beyond our hospital walls, Golisano Children’s at UK shares a vision with the Golisano Alliance for a Healthier America. This alliance brings together leading children’s hospitals to elevate pediatric care across the country.
Through this alignment, we strive not only to deliver exceptional clinical care, but also to advance community health, strengthen partnerships and address the factors that shape lifelong well-being.
Our goal is simple: help children heal, grow and get back to being kids.
