UK Specialty Pharmacy: Benefits for patients and providers

When you work with UK Specialty Pharmacy, your patients can access the many benefits and services of UK pharmacies without leaving your care.

UK Specialty Pharmacy has 10 years of experience in the specialty pharmacy space. The pharmacy holds seven accreditations, including rare and orphan diseases and oncology.

More than 300 staff members based in Lexington offer concierge white glove service to patients, assuring they are able to get the maximum benefits from the therapies you prescribe.

Pharmacist in telehealth appointmentIn order to establish care, UK Specialty Pharmacy will conduct a brief telehealth visit with the patient. There is no charge for this visit.

When you work with UK Specialty Pharmacy, your patients remain your patients, and all care decisions remain with you. We are here to support you and your patients in their healthcare journey.

As a provider, we'll need you to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with UK HealthCare to establish shared care of your patients. There is no cost to you and nothing else is required. UK Specialty Pharmacy referral materials are available on request.

Services include:

  • Benefits investigation and insurance navigation support.
  • Continuous clinical management, creating an added layer of monitoring for patients. (Providers are alerted to any issues identified.)
  • The possibility of financial assistance for patients who qualify. This may include:
    • Manufacturer assistance programs.
