Vaccinations, testing and treatment: No prescription necessary
UK Retail Pharmacies now offers a wide range of point-of-care services without a prescription, including:
- Flu
- Open to anyone age 5 and up when shots are received at our retail pharmacies. The UK Pharmacist Care Clinic, located at 245 Fountain Court, Room 220 (off Man O'War near Richmond Road) can give flu vaccines to children age 6 months and up. (We recommend pregnant women discuss all vaccinations with their OB/GYN first.)
- High-dose flu shots also available.

Egg-free flu shots are available upon request, depending on availability, however any age-appropriate flu shot has been deemed safe and effective regardless of egg allergy.
- COVID
- Available for anyone age 12 and up at all pharmacy locations. The UK Pharmacist Care Clinic (245 Fountain Court, Room 220) offers flu and COVID vaccines for 6 months and up.
- CDC recommended immunizations, including school vaccines:
- Tdap/DTaP (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis/whooping cough)
- Hepatitis A&B
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- Meningococcal (MenACWY)
- Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
- Pneumococcal pneumonia (recommended for adults 50 years of age and older)
- And more
- RSV
- The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommends adults 75 years of age and older receive a single dose of RSV vaccine.
- ACIP recommends adults 50–74 years of age and older who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease receive a single dose of RSV vaccine.
- Individuals 32-36 weeks pregnant should receive a single dose of RSV vaccine.
- Travel vaccines (see Travel Health services to learn more)
- Shingles, recommended for adults age 50 and older.
- Mpox
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Planning a trip abroad? We now offer required vaccinations for international travel, including:
- Yellow fever
- Japanese encephalitis
- Typhoid
Routine vaccines, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) travel health items and prescription-based travel health medications are also available.
Travel health services are available at the UK Pharmacist Care Clinic, 245 Fountain Court, Room 220. Appointments are required.
Plan ahead
It is best to get vaccinated 4-6 weeks before traveling abroad. To schedule an appointment, just click the button below, select "Pharmacy," then "Travel Health" and fill out the information.
Your first travel health appointment will be a TeleCare video appointment. Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a travel health questionnaire. During your video visit, a member of the Pharmacist Care team will review your answers and provide counseling based on your travel itinerary and health information. The cost of the appointment is $75 and does not include costs for any OTC travel health items or medications that may be prescribed. You will need to schedule an additional in-person appointment if vaccinations are needed.
