Birthing Center Renovations
In spring 2026, the UK HealthCare Birthing Center will begin an exciting multiyear renovation to better serve growing families.
As you come to deliver your baby during this time, you may notice ongoing construction. Please know that our team will continue to provide the same great care you expect – without interruption.
Patients arriving for care in Labor & Delivery or the Obstetrics Emergency Department will still enter through the lobby of Golisano Children’s at UK (formerly Kentucky Children’s Hospital).
After delivery, you will transition to our Mother Baby Unit’s beautifully updated permanent home. This space has been thoughtfully created to support healing, bonding and relaxation.
