Your primary care provider should be your first call for preventive care or non-emergency illnesses. Our clinic offers general wellness services and primary care for the whole family, including:

  • Preventive screenings, such as Pap tests for cervical cancer and PSA blood tests for prostate cancer
  • Testing and monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol
  • Vaccinations

Our primary care providers specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of common chronic and acute conditions. They can also give you advice on diet, exercise and taking good care of yourself to help avoid medical problems in the future.

Your primary care provider can also refer you to other providers for conditions that need specialized care.

Conveniently located near U.S. 25 (Lexington Road) and U.S. 62/U.S. 460 Bypass (McClelland Circle) south of downtown Georgetown, UK Family & Community Medicine – Georgetown is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We offer comprehensive primary care and several specialty services, which allows you to see UK HealthCare specialists in your community instead of having to drive to Lexington. Walk-in primary care sports medicine

Sports improve health and self-esteem and bring joy to children and adults alike. They’re also part of the fabric of our communities. At UK Family & Community Medicine – Georgetown, we offer primary care sports medicine services to help athletes of all ages get back in the game as soon as possible. Best of all, you don’t need an appointment.

Family medicine and primary care sports medicine physician Srikanth Nithyanandam, MD, provides non-surgical care to patients with minor sports-related injuries at our Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic. Open five days a week, this clinic serves patients with sprains, strains and other injuries on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The clinic also welcomes patients Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
