Personal Statement

I was born and raised in Kentucky and feel a close kinship to fellow Kentuckians. I chose nursing as a career because of an interest in helping others in illness and in health and enjoy doing this in my home state of Kentucky. I received my Associate’s degree in nursing in 1995 and later continued my education while working at UK advancing now to a Master’s degree in nursing. I have worked in family practice as a nurse practitioner for 6 years and as a registered nurse for 24 years. I enjoy a focus in general health care with a special interest in preventive care.

      She always seems to have the same health issues that I have every time I see her. It's not professional for her to always say she had the same thing. I feel my problems are belittled and looked over, I will try to not schedule more appointments with her, I just don't feel heard and leave aggravated

      My treatment and appointment was really good I had excellent service. I know I'm 63 but when I said I just don't feel good anymore. I stay tired and I do. Yes it could be my age. I have never had the dr say to me will you are 63.. That was something I was not expecting. Other than that my appointment was excellent. I will continue seeing the doctor now I know to be prepared

      Carrie is exceptional! We've been using her for many years as our primary care. She asks the proper questions, isolates the problem as close as possible, and offers solutions, of which we are given a choice of what we might feel is best. She, of course, offers her advice and proposes testing that may help isolate an unknown medical condition. I'm dreading the day she retires. I don't want to see anyone else for my medical care. My daughter and her family use her for primary care and love her.
