Critical Care Nursing
Our goal is to provide total care to the critically ill patient with complex needs.
- Care is rendered by a professional staff of registered nurses working closely with the physicians to meet the needs of the patients along with Nursing Care Technicians
- The patient's family members are considered significant participants in care
- These nursing units provide care and treatment continuously, 24 hours a day throughout the year
We provide specialty critical care in a variety of specialty areas including trauma and surgical care, cardiovascular services and medical critical care. Nurses in these areas receive training to care for the patient population that they service. Patients who are critically ill are also cared for in other areas such as the transitional units, emergency department and perioperative services. Nurses in those areas are specially trained to stabilize patients and provide resuscitative and critical support prior to transition to the designated specialty unit.
