The UK Bioethics program is responsible for bioethics education and consultation to the UK HealthCare clinical enterprise and the wider University of Kentucky campus.

UK Dispatch Services will facilitate an adult, pediatric or neonatal emergency transfer via air medical or ground EMS -- call 800-777-8537.
For newborn and pediatric emergency transport, Kentucky Kids Crew is available 24/7.

UK•MDs physician-to-physician service
The easiest way for community providers to contact a University of Kentucky specialist for referrals or consultations is by contacting UK HealthCare's medical call center, UK•MDs. UK•MDs is a unique service offered by UK HealthCare, dedicated to providing community physicians with an extensive range of physician-to-physician services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Call 859-257-5522 or 800-888-5533 toll free and our call agents will connect you with the appropriate UK physician for consults, appointments, admissions, transfers and patient information. To make an online patient referral, visit our secure online referral form »
You may also print and fax the form and other pertinent patient information such as demographics and a copy of the insurance card to 859-257-6325. Our call agents will direct your patient referral to the appropriate scheduler and clinical area to make the appointment.
