Our faculty orientation materials help ensure all faculty members who have students in the clinical sites at UK HealthCare have the information necessary to meet the orientation requirements.
This orientation must be completed before the first day of clinical service.

Electronic Medical Record (SCM) training for faculty and students
Each semester, all students who have viewing or documentation rights must review the following student electronic medical record (SCM) training module and complete the post-test.
Each semester, all clinical instructors returning to UKHC who previously attended a clinical instructor training class and have been active in the SCM system within the past 6 months should review the training modules below. Those clinical instructors who are new to UKHC as a clinical instructor or are a returning clinical instructor to UKHC that has not been active in the SCM system within the past 6 months must attend classroom training.
