Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center

The College of Nursing has experienced and dedicated faculty and staff who aim to impact the Lexington community and beyond. The UK College of Nursing Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center—named in honor of Dr. Phyllis D. Corbitt, who served the Wilmore community for more than 40 years—opened in September 2015 in an effort to fill a need for accessible health services in Jessamine County and surrounding counties.

As primary care providers, we are the initial point of contact for our patients for all of their health issues. We provide comprehensive health care for people of all ages including health promotion, disease prevention, immunizations and management of acute and chronic health problems.

We also administer immunizations, participate in the Vaccines for Children Program, provide patient education and counseling and do school and sports physicals as well as pre-employment health screenings.
