Arm lift (Brachioplasty)

Due to aging or weight loss, extra skin can develop on the upper arms. If this makes it hard to function or find clothing, or if you are unhappy about the appearance of your upper arms, talk to your plastic surgeon about an arm lift. This procedure removes the extra skin of the arm to create a better shape. The best way to remove this tissue leaves a scar on the inside of the arm, so it is not visible, even in short-sleeved shirts.

Liposuction can also be used for patients with extra volume but minimal extra skin. In cases of significant weight loss, the incision can be longer to remove as much extra skin as possible.
