The COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all Kentucky residents ages 16 and older. If you are an Eastern Kentucky resident of Knott and Perry County, the UK HealthCare June Buchanan Medical Clinic in Hindman is offering free appointments for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Call 606-785-3175 to schedule your appointment.

Children under the age of 16 are not eligible for the vaccine until it is approved for that age group. 

The UK HealthCare June Buchanan Medical Clinic provides primary and preventative health services to residents of Knott and surrounding counties. All patients at the clinic are treated regardless of their income or ability to pay. The clinic has a sliding fee scale to help residents afford health care costs and reduce the financial burden of receiving care. The clinic accepts both third-party insurance and workers’ compensation. The clinic also has community health workers on site.
