WHO WE
SERVE

The department's facilities include an acute care inpatient unit for adults housed at UK Good Samaritan Hospital, a Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit for those 17 and under at Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and an outpatient child, adolescent, and adult clinic located at Fountain Court in Lexington. The faculty also manages Eastern State Hospital, which provides inpatient care for patients with severe and persistent mental illness.

WHY WE ARE
UNIQUE

We stand at the forefront of behavioral health and psychiatric care. The department's multidisciplinary faculty is active in a variety of clinical and research interests including biological psychiatry, pharmacotherapy, and behavior therapy.

By combining evidence-based practices with a patient-centered philosophy, we are well-equipped to address your behavioral health concerns.
