New dates: UK HealthCare Pharmacies offer vaccination clinics open to everyone

A pharmacist gives a woman a vaccination.

UK HealthCare Pharmacy is offering the following vaccination clinics, which are open to UK employees as well as patients and the public. Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Tdap, Tetanus booster, pneumonia and flu shots are available.

UK employees wanting their second dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine must bring proof of the date your first dose was received if it was outside of our pharmacies. If you get an email from Employee Health for your second hepatitis A dose, the date of your first dose can be found in your myUK.

These clinics are not free of charge. Please bring your insurance card with you. Charges will depend upon your insurance. UK HMO members can receive only the hepatitis A and flu shots at these clinics without a copay but should see their primary care provider for other vaccinations. Other UK health plan members (PPO, RHP, EPO, Indemnity) may receive any of these vaccines at the vaccine clinics without a copay.

In addition to vaccinations, UK HealthCare Retail Pharmacies offer a full range of convenient services, including discounts on many prescriptions. Our UK Chandler location is now open 24 hours a day every day. For more information on UK HealthCare Retail Pharmacies, including hours and services offered, visit ukpharmacy.org.

If you have questions about these vaccine clinics, please call 859-562-2018.
