About
Zena Chahine, MD, joins the UK Markey Cancer Center as a hematologist-oncologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine’s Division of Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
Dr. Chahine is excited to care for patients in Kentucky, where she completed her fellowship. She treats blood cancers and other conditions using leading-edge treatments.
Dr. Chahine’s research includes published and ongoing work focused on CAR T-cell therapy, acute myeloid leukemia, multiple myeloma and other cancers. Her teaching experience includes organizing and instructing a hematology lecture series for residents. She is a peer reviewer for several medical journals and previously volunteered as a medical provider for underserved populations in Tripoli. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
