      I had to bring my daughter (pt's sister) along to the appt.. As we were. Doing the eye exam, she started to get inpatient and upset towards the end of the exam. My son also got upset by the end of the exam. As I was putting him back in the stroller, the doctor picked up my daughter and started to take her out in the hall. I asked where she was going with her. She said that she was just consoling her and they would be right outside. I said I preferred that my daughter stayed with me, but she ignored me. When I finished securing my son, and quickly went to the door and the doctor and daughter were nowhere to be found. I told the resident that her non presence was unacceptable. She said the doctor really likes children. I told her that I do as well, but that I don't carry children out of their parent's sight, and for her to get my daughter back to me.

      Doctor did not listen to me and mainly worked from the notes the assistant doctor made before she arrived. Even when I tried to correct a bit she wasn't especially interested in what I had to say and she talked with the assistant doctor as though I wasn't in the room and I had no idea what I was going through. Unfortunately the diagnosis I was given really didn't match up with the symptoms I am suffering from.
