I can't say enough good things about Dr.Haque! I haven't been able to function for 7 months and haven't found a doctor that knows how to even attempt to treat my POTS. I feel she went above and beyond today to make sure I got the care I needed and a treatment plan pit in place. I've never seen a doctor so dedicated to helping a patient. She made calls to get me registered for the POTS covid trial. I left the office with a treatment plan and a complete understanding of exactly what I needed to do. Before seeing Dr. Haque I really had no hope of any improvement and now I feel hopeful. I actually have already mentioned her to other POTS patients who are struggling to find a doctor in Kentucky. It's very hard to find a doctor in Kentucky to treat those of us with more complicated cases of POTS. I've been referred to Vanderbilt by 3 doctors but Vanderbilt doesn't take my insurance so it's not an option for me so I was really excited to see that UK had Dr. Haque who saw POTS patients.

She did not do complete check even though she said in her note she did. She never examined my legs for edema and stated she with no edema and I do have Edema and she didn't even check. I feel like she blew off my symptoms and my concerns.

*Dr. Haque is wonderful. My care was moved from *Dr. Aguilar who left to *Dr. Haque. This was my first visit with her. She was kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. I am thankful she is my doctor.

I liked Dr. Haque. She was very nice and seems knowledgeable. She is very busy, which I assume is because there are not enough providers for the number of patients needing to be seen. The appointment felt rushed. She talks quickly and I had a somewhat difficult time keeping up with what she was saying.

The doctor rushed me, asked questions and didn't let me answer, didn't ask me if I had questions, made me feel like I was a burden, made me feel like I was the reason the appointment was delayed, didn't show consideration for how the health information might make me feel. Made me feel like I was lying about my health history because a previous doctor diagnosed me with Marfan syndrome without doing a genetic test which is the standard (as she explained). I'm a patient, and don't know what tests are standard. I also cannot order my own genetic testing, so I was confused about why I was made to feel like I had done something wrong. It was a very rushed and uncomfortable appointment.

Dr. Haque walked in between 1:18pm and 1:20pm. She introduced herself and stated she looked over my chart. She showed me this test on her laptop of that I was 60 % chance of having another stroke in the next 2 years. And how she wished I had seen her right after my echo/bubble study (May 16th 2022). Because we could have prevented my stroke. I was extremely shocked! Apparently she didn't look over my chart. I told her my stroke was July 2018. I had my MRI (4/12/22) showing past strokes. She looked very surprised. She then disregarded on what I just told her to show me the test on her laptop again. And how I need to see Dr. Gurley asap. I was thinking to myself wow. My neurologist did a better job from preventing me at not having another stroke. My neurologist stopped my BC pill and started me on medications ASAP. Neurologist also ordered more test to see what could have made me have stroke. Per neurologist it was most likely a blood clot from my BC pill that went through my PFO. My neurologist said PFO is cardiology so lets refer you to them and go from there. Dr. Haque finally asked me about my past cardiology history. I told her it was at Baptist. I grabbed my phone to look at some dates to tell her. She told me I don't need to get on Epic on push my records over. She was about to walk out of the room and then said oh let me listen to your heart. She only listen to my chest. She didn't listen to my back or my carotids. That's all she did examination wise. I started working at Lexington Cardiology at Baptist in 2006. I was a tech on 8-100 at UK hospital. I know how a cardiologist should examine you. I saw Dr. Scully cardiologist at Baptist. Dr. Scully schedules 60 mins for his new patient consults. Dr. Haque didn't tell me the exam was over. She kept asking me about records and when I had this and that. She was in rush to listen to me. She said I will get your records. She walked out. I thought she was maybe going to look at my Baptist records in Epic and them come back and see me. The nurse walked in 2 mins later and said Dr. Haque wants to see you 1 year and refer you to Dr. Gurley. My mouth drooped and I said Dr. Haque is done? The nurse said yes, why do you need to talk to her again? Do you have more questions? I said yes I have lots of questions! Dr. Haque only talked to me for 10 minutes max and this was a consultation. The nurse said I can go get her. I told her no. If Dr. Haque didn't have time for me. Why would I want to talk to her again? Sh

As soon as I expressed an interest in lifestyle changes as a first response to what I had been told was a less serious situation than I had been concerned about, the doctor's response was essentially to tell me to take that up with my primary care physician. There was nothing she seemed to want to offer but statins and beta blockers.
