About

Kara Ann Kennedy completed medical school at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. During her residency training at UK, she gained expertise in neurology and served as neurology chief resident. She completed a fellowship in neurological recovery with an emphasis on stroke and brain injury recovery at Washington University in St. Louis.

She currently serves as an assistant professor with appointments in the Department of Neurology as well as the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Kennedy, I feel goes above and beyond. She has always made me feel comfortable. She listens to what I say to her and then she'll go back over with me so she completely understand the issues . I'm very grateful that she's on my medical team.

      The only thing I wish was change would be that the dr. would speak to the family without patient being present. Patient became upset hearing about behavior that he did not remember because of dementia.
