Absolutely excellent

Tamara Carey explained the findings from the PET Scan I had on June 5th in more detail. She laid out the new area of concern for melanoma in my left armpit and what will most likely need to be done to get rid of it. I'm not happy about the only treatment option being Keytruda, but there isn't anything else at this time. She seems to think I'll be fine and I'll just have to hope that is the case at the end of all this.

I really enjoy and appreciate the care Tamara Carey gives me. She is no-nonsense and excellent at explaining everything, as well as extremely thorough when she examines me. I have been under surveillance for post surgical removal of melanoma and she found a mole on my back and another on my upper left thigh at the hip joint that she Instructed me to have removed because they were bi-color and she wants them off before they change Into another cancer. She also explained that my PET scan did not light up from either one, but removing them would be a preventive measure. She did a thorough exam of both armpits as Well because I also had a bi-lateral mastectomy Oct. 30, 2023 where 2 lymph nodes were removed from the right axilla-none malignant, then during the melanoma surgery Jan. 29, 2024 5 lymph nodes were removed from the left axilla, 1 of which was malignant. I had undergone an ultrasound exam of left and right axilla 2 days prior to my visit with Tamara on 12/12/2024. So far, so good and she put me at ease for where I am now.
