Would highly recommend *Pamela Kouns and _____ clinic. She fully explained cause of discomfort and options to address. Injection has been successful and reduce pain.

The appointment felt entirely rushed and I feel as though I was given conflicting information on why she believed my issue is one thing over another. While I trust her expertise enough to believe she is correct, I don't feel at ease that there isn't something else going on.

Doctor took time to answer my questions, did not seem like she was in a big rush to get out of the room and on to the next patient, as had been my experience with most MDs.

This was a second visit as stitches Pamela put in (at the ED on July 02) became undone in 2-5 days. . She is not very communicative -- I did most of the talking. Even the tapes put in with durabond came undone in a couple of days. We has to ask for an arm brace to try and keep the wound from opening up again; none was offered nor alternatives discussed.

My wife is a physician. She when with me. The PA, even after being asked to look at my previous MRI, tried to schedule me for yet another MRI. She began her consult with us by explaining how busy her schedule was that day. I'm a lawyer my wife is a doctor. We traveled 2.5 hours for this appointment. Our schedules are also very busy so simply brushing off for a second MRI (which would have meant 2 more trips to Lexington) was frustrating to say the least. Only after persisting that the surgeon look at the MRI to see if surgery was necessary did we actually get to talk to the doctor. Within 2 minutes he said surgery was necessary. I know they are busy but take 3 minutes and look at the MRI. The PA told us that the doctor would review the improved MRI. We asked how do you know if it will be improved if you haven't looked at the existing MRI. I will never recommend UK hand surgery to anyone.
