About

Deb Stromberg graduated with her BSN degree from Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wisc. She completed her Master of Science degree in nursing at the University of Kentucky. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. Stromberg is a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining University Health Service, she was in a private medical practice. She joined University Health Service in 2005 and although her primary focus is women’s health, she also sees primary care patients.

    I felt very dismissed by her and she treated me like I was crazy. She told me she thinks it was stressed related. I told her I have had no stressors in the past few weeks and she then told me she doesn't know why I'm having this problem and left. She did not help me one single bit. I am still suffering.

    NP Stromberg is an incredible provider. I was having some issues with refilling my birth control and she went as far as to call my pharmacy herself right then and there to make sure the issue was being addressed. Showed genuine concern for my care and answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable.

      I always schedule with Dr. Stromberg, as she is one of few providers at UHS who listen and take their time while providing care. I've been at UK for 6 years, and always/try to schedule with Dr. Stromberg when using UHS. She is professional, nice, supportive, a great listener, and insightful. She gives you all her attention, and listens to your problems then tries to serve advice/solutions. As a minority woman, my health issues tend to feel like their dismissed/avoided, but Dr. Stromberg listens and understands, which is what I always liked about her.
