Chris McGlothlin-Boggs graduated with a BSN degree from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She completed her Master of Science degree in nursing at the University of Kentucky. She is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner. Prior to joining UHS, McGlothlin-Boggs practiced at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Lexington as an APRN in the primary and urgent care clinics. While at the VAMC, she received the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Award for Excellence in Nursing in recognition of her support and commitment to veterans. 

At University Health Service, McGlothlin-Boggs sees primary care patients and works with the IT staff to improve the electronic medical record system.

    She does not specialize in sternum popping, so for what she does specialize in, she did a fantastic job in helping me! I am also happy that she was able to refer me to get an chest x-Ray, so that any injuries could be eliminated.
