Candice D. Falls serves as adjunct faculty between University of Kentucky College of Nursing and University of Kentucky Healthcare. She is the Senior Clinical Advisor and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support and Cardiac Transplantation service line. She is also an Assistant Professor and the Adult Gerontology Track Coordinator for the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She received her PhD in Nursing from University of Kentucky with a research focus in advanced heart failure and left ventricular assist device. She received her Master’s in Nursing at Vanderbilt University, School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner and by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine as an Anti-Aging Health Practitioner. In addition to her nursing background, she has a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science which were completed at University of Kentucky.
