About
Luke Nolte is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist at UK HealthCare.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in special education for moderate and severe disabilities from the University of Kentucky and his master’s degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. He has spent most of his career working in the outpatient hand therapy setting.
Personal Statement
From a young age, I have always been interested in the rehabilitation side of healthcare. I gravitated toward hand therapy because I enjoy learning about my patients’ lives and tailoring their treatment so that they can return to their unique needs, roles, work and meaningful hobbies.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside playing soccer, volleyball and golf as well as traveling, practicing guitar, and spending time with my family and friends.
