I am a registered nurse with nearly 10 years of experience working with pediatric patients at Kentucky Children’s Hospital and the associated outpatient clinics. I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Asbury University in 2004 and received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Kentucky in 2015. After working for 8 years as a bedside nurse in the Pediatric ICU, I joined the Pediatric Advanced Care Team to provide support to children with complex medical needs and their families. I work with the Pediatric Psychology team to share my nursing perspective with the goal of helping children and young adults with mental health needs that have been impacted by their medical journey.
