Rheumatology
UK Rheumatology is dedicated to providing great patient care. We also focus on education and research to drive better health for people across our region.
Our specialists diagnose and treat many types of inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions. We work to improve daily function, prevent disability and enhance our patients’ quality of life.
We partner with other UK HealthCare specialists when our patients have complex needs. This includes experts in lung disease, kidney disease, skin conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, neurologic disorders and other subspecialties. Working together helps us support patients with conditions affecting more than one system in the body.
A dedicated specialty pharmacy team supports our care. This team assists with starting and managing biologic and targeted therapies. They also help with insurance approval, financial assistance, patient education and medicine delivery. Regular check-ins help patients stay on track with their medicine.
Our specialists are also involved in clinical trials and research in rheumatology and immunology. This work gives patients access to new therapies and brings the latest scientific advances into our clinics.
By bringing together expert care, collaboration, education and research, UK Rheumatology works to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients throughout the region. We are also committed to training the next generation of rheumatologists. For more than three decades, we have helped prepare physicians who now care for patients across the country.
