    Personal Statement

My goal, as chairman of the department, is to build a really top-notch academic program for the institution and for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I'm inspired by the growth. Our faculty has more than quadrupled, our patient volumes are way up and we provide high-quality complex care for the entire region. I'm inspired to continue that growth and to expand our reach to help people who need eye care. We have specialists in every subspecialty field in ophthalmology so patients can expect the best care for whatever their problem is.

I've been seeing Dr. Pearson for several months now for various diabetic and non-diabetic related issues. I'm quite satisfied with his care.
