Dr. Nakul Katyal is a board-certified Neurologist and Neuromuscular specialist at UK HealthCare. Originally from India, Dr. Katyal completed medical training at Gian Sagar Medical College before moving to the U.S. for Neurology Residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he served as Chief Resident. He pursued a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at Stanford University, gaining expertise in diagnosing and treating complex peripheral nervous system disorders, nerve disorders, motor neuron diseases, muscle diseases, and neuromuscular junction disorders.
Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Katyal takes a thorough and detail-oriented approach, encouraging patients and families to ask questions. He is drawn to the puzzle-like nature of neurology and the advancements in neuromuscular medicine that have transformed patient outcomes.
