They make you feel like they have all the time in the world to listen to you, but somehow get you in and out of there quickly. They both deserve a big raise, or an award, both actually. I am asked at every single appointment if I want my tubes tied. The first time this came up it rubbed me the wrong way, but I chalked it up to Dr. Marcum educating me on my options. It has since come up every single appointment. It is like she is meeting me for the first time, every single time. It would be beneficial for her to note my response in a chart and familiarize herself with that chart before my appointment. I needed IVF due to male factor infertility which she is aware of. I find it insensitive that she continues to ask this question and ask if we are done having children after this pregnancy.

Really appreciated Dr Marcum's candor, kindness, and sensitivity. I remember her incredible bedside manner 24hrs after my c-section as a first time mom (2 years ago). Women's health in general needs more champions like her!
