Seemed rushed - I was not given much encouragement/hope for relief. Rather stoic and flat tone - offered a treatment (that was performed prior by a UKHC MD).

I have been seeing Dr. Harned for several years, I trust his judgment, the quality of care provided!

I had seen another doctor at this clinic a few times over a year ago, but had no idea there was any other Hope or future chances of helping me with my pain or my back. The new doctor commented what brings you back after a year? I didn't want to feel this pain and have no quality of life, but I was at my wits end with pain and figured they had to be something if they had cures for cancer they have to be able to fix this pain. Other doctors told me you are not a candidate for surgery or had their training med student perform injections which I never ever knew was happening until it was over. Just frustrating all the way around so my new visit with the new doctor today was very refreshing. I now Know they are other options And things we can try besides medicine and surgery. What a relief I literally thought there was no hope, and I was gonna suffer for the rest of my life. This dr and the nurse are the perfect duo. She recapped what the dr said and genuinely wanted to make sure that I understood the process and what the endgame could be, which was good news. I literally walked in feeling hopeless, and I left with a huge comfort in my heart. To think that there is a chance that I won't have to live with this intense pain and numbness in my toes and legs for the rest of my life. It's not even possible to explain with words. I'm hopeful and I trust this dr very much.

They are very caring nurses an drs about your problems I would recommend this clinic to anyone we need need more of them

Both Dr. Harned and his fellow was compassionate, sympathetic, and communicated clearly. Even with me being terrified and emotional. My IVP MD was out for the week. I was promptly seen the following day after a ER visit. By Dr. Harned. Everything was addressed and I was given clear instructions for what to do if things got worse. Every provider I have seen at UK IVP is caring and knowledgeable. I'm very thankful for all they have done and continue to do for me.
