About

Dr. Kristopher Cumbermack began his career at UK HealthCare in 2010 after completing a pediatric cardiology fellowship and an additional year of non-invasive imaging training at Emory University in Atlanta. He is currently the medical director of both the congenital echocardiography laboratory and the fetal cardiovascular program.

Dr. Cumbermack’s expertise lies in using echocardiography for diagnosis and treatment of complex congenital heart disease from the fetus to the adult, including intra-procedural imaging in the cardiac catheterization lab and operating room. He also leads the pediatric echocardiography outreach efforts aimed to provide specialized care in local communities. Dr. Cumbermack is committed to providing excellent cardiac care to patients throughout Kentucky while remaining a strong advocate for the patients and families he serves.
