Katherine McKinney received her medical degree from Medical University of Ohio, Toledo.       I think more doctors need to have empathy for women who are struggling with weight gain during peri and not just say, try weight watchers. I think women in this age range are often pushed aside because doctors lack knowledge and/or empathy. As a society we don't talk about what women go through and the effects it has on our minds and bodies.
