About

Dr. Randall was born in Kansas, where he completed his undergraduate and medical degrees. He then went to Arizona for general pediatric training followed by pediatric cardiology training at the University of Iowa. He then underwent specialized training in cardiac catheterization in children and adults with congenital heart disease at Children's Hospital Colorado. After completing interventional training, Dr. Randall helped lead and develop the congenital interventional cardiology program at Albany Medical Center for nearly four years, including establishing multiple new procedures and programs at the institution.

Now as the director of the pediatric cardiac cath lab at University of Kentucky as part of the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Joint Pediatric and Congenital Heart Program, Dr. Randall aims to continue to develop and provide excellent care to patients throughout the Commonwealth and region.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Randall is married with two children that help keep him active. He enjoys a variety of sports, tries to get outdoors as much as possible, is always finding something different to eat or cook, and is eager to explore the area more!

Personal Statement

I treat a wide variety of patients with congenital heart disease with additional focus on patients with single ventricle anatomy, pulmonary hypertension, or those who require catheter-based procedures. It is a real pleasure to meet families, and I aim to provide high-quality care in a friendly and non-threatening environment whenever possible.
