Jason Bylund is a native Kentuckian, having grown up in Morehead and graduated from Rowan County Senior High School. He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah and received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. He also completed residency training in urology at the University of Kentucky, followed by a fellowship in endourology and minimally invasive urology, also at the University of Kentucky.

He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He currently specializes in the prevention and treatment of kidney stones, surgical treatment of kidney cancer and other kidney diseases, and laparoscopic and robot-assisted urologic surgery.

      Dr. Bylund is great, as his whole staff in Urology. Dr. Bylund actually listens with understanding and compassion, and certainly is NOT on some sort or power trip and he definitely is BOT one of the many physicians throughout UK Healthcare that have God complex issues. Dr. Bylund is an excellent physician and I think he and his staff deserve BIG raises.
