Best, most thorough ultrasound I ever had

Dr Merhy took my case from the beginning and went over all of my results that I have had the past two years and reviewed everything. She then done a physical exam and an ultrasound on the spot to be able to give me her total opinion. She spent two hours with me and actually fit me in on an already booked day. I am so thankful for her. she made me feel at ease and I understood more about my situation than I have the entire time

She was knowledgeable and confirmed a lot that I knew. However, she dismissed testing I asked about and did not seem interested in hearing what I actually came to see her for.

The doctor was not able to give me options of treatment and the concrete risk of each treatment. She told me that her choice of treatment does not have any risk, but I believe every treatment will have risks, even if the benefit outweighs the risks.

Treated like I was in the wrong place at the wrong time??? I was 30mins. Early drove from eastern ky which took almost 3 hrs. Scheduled to come back in 6 mos. For a 2.5 nodule and .50 suspicious nodule. A 3rd nodule not explained. Dr may deal with issues like this daily but I do not. I left feeling anxious and confused.

This was first visit with doctor. After waiting an hour for her to come in, she did not introduce herself or apologize for me waiting so long. Poor bedside manner. She had not reviewed my 10 year chart until she was in room talking to me. I felt like she was unprepared.

Its like this doctor has never looked at my chart when I see her. I believe this is my 2nd, maybe 3rd time seeing her. I aways have to explain what I'm there for what she thought the last time, she interrupts me once she logs into her computer and says everything back to me.

Dr. Did show interest in my concerns and addressed them. She seemed to understand that I do not want to take a bunch of medications and like all natural remedies at all possible.
