About
Ginny Lee Gottschalk, M.D. is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
She was previously in private practice in Danville, KY, practicing traditional inpatient and outpatient family medicine before returning to UK HealthCare. Dr. Gottschalk enjoys teaching medical students and residents and this is brought her to the University. She currently serves as our third year Family Medicine clerkship director. Dr. Gottschalk is the medical director for Family and Community Medicine Turfland Clinic. She enjoys chronic disease management and caring for families.
