Sharon J. Pelfrey is originally from Hyden, Ky. She has more than 10 years of nursing experience treating UK patients with persistent wounds, and in 2015 earned her APRN from Frontier Nursing University

Sharon joined our roster of board-certified surgeons and physicians in podiatry, general surgery, vascular and plastic surgery specializing in the treatment and care of wounds. At the UK Wound Care Clinic, she treats clinic patients and rounds on inpatients at UK Good Samaritan Hospital.

      I love Sharon, and would recommend her to anyone. If I EVER burn myself badly again she is the first person I am coming to see. In her care I have completely avoided surgery.
